WORK DONE WITH THE CHILDREN OF THE MEDINA OF TUNIS (12 TO 15 YEARS OLD) WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE “ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE PROGRAM” LAUNCHED BY THE ART RUE ASSOCIATION
The project gives the participating children the opportunity to travel, meet Chechia artisans, watch them work, ask them questions about their art and its future, and learn more about this profession in extinction. It also developed their ability to communicate, listen, and share... The experience led to an artistic journey where the children became actors through testimonies, stories, physical performances, and pictorial expression... This itinerary includes three schools in the Medina (Medersa Chamaia, National Center of Music and Popular Arts and the Kotteb Louzir Primary School).
